Class Description:

This class will provide insight into the principles of providing plan review of the structural design of a project under the current building codes. The class will include the basic steps in a structural plan review, the importance of understanding load paths, the importance of communication and collaboration with reviewers of other disciplines, common issues that arise, and other topics relevant to structural plan review. An example project will be reviewed in the class.
